Bird's nest
We found this bird's nest on the "birdcage" of our Stryker. These eggs actually go out with us on patrol!
Iraqi Army rooftop picnic
One day I went up to the roof of the outpost where our company is stationed to eat some chicken and rice with the Iraqis.

On leave I went to see Dino Campanis at his shoe store in Bellefonte, PA. Through Operation Shoebox he has sent me over 200 care packages to support the troops. MRAP
Here's a shot of the new Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. Our Stryker unit won't get to try them out till we get back to Fort Lewis.
